What an achievement. What a band.
We’ve gone on about it loads, but Ice Nine Kills’ new album ‘The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood’ is a fucking epic. Bigger, bolder, bloodier and more brutal than anything the band have previously attempted, it’s been capturing the hearts and minds of everyone who has let it under their skin since its release earlier this month.
And it has also achieved something quite incredible in the US.
The record has debuted at No.18 on the Billboard 200 chart, the highest first week of their career.
The previous album ‘The Silver Scream’ peaked at No.29, with 2015’s ‘Every Trick In The Book’ reaching No.122.
Debuts on this week’s #Billboard200 (1/3):
#1, @youngthug Punk

#4, @coldplay Music of the Spheres
#11, @ENHYPEN Dimension : Dilemma
#18, @ICENINEKILLS Welcome To Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2— billboard charts (@billboardcharts) October 24, 2021
If that wasn’t enough, it is also the 5th highest-selling album of the week, only being beaten by The Beatles, Coldplay, Mac Miller and ENHYPEN. Quite amazing company to be in.
