Marc Brownstein and The Disco Biscuits have started a fundraiser on gofundme.com to help William James, aka B4L Will, who is about to undergo chemotherapy. Brownstein shared some loving anecdotes about James; he is the man that started the “definitive disco biscuits meme,” with his tree alien tree and B4L sign-offs which were adopted by the band and fans alike.
They wrote in the fundraiser’s description the funds are a way to “take away some of the pressure that Will is feeling right now.” Brownstein and crew have decided to present him with a digital gift from the fans he’s shared so many beautiful moments with. They continued to write, “I know our community will rally around the great William James… Thank you for your help!”
The Go Fund Me campaign has a set goal of $20,000. Click here to donate.
Thank you so much for everyone who has donated to the William James fundraiser. William starts chemo today. Please consider donating here! The community has come together in a huge way to support one of our own! B4L – please at least read the storyhttps://t.co/xhp1103r0I pic.twitter.com/OMbAOYEdxK
