Slaughter, Lynch Mob Top Lineup For 80’s Metal Extravaganza Glam Fest 2024

A music festival dedicated to all things 80’s metal is returning down under with a lineup to wail for. Glam Fest will hit our shores in February of this year, with multi-platinum US metal icons Slaughter coming down under for the first time in their 35 year history to headline the East Coast-roaming event in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
Joining them will be iconic shredder George Lynch’s post-Dokken project Lynch Mob, alongside a bunch of other internationals including Janet Gardner (AKA the voice of American 80’s glam sensations Vixen), Sweden’s H.E.A.T, first time visitors Tyketto out of New York City, cult ‘80s Sunset Strip rockers Jetboy and fast-rising Swedish sleaze kings, The Cruel Intentions.

While on the local front, Melbourne trio Sisters Doll will be joining the party, alongside Ablaze, Dept of Gloom, Crosson, The Black Cardinals, Ragdoll, Cassidy Paris, DJ Paul Miles and Wicked Smile.
“This is the show that fans of ‘80s hard rock and ‘80s inspired hard rock wish they got back when this music ruled the charts and airwaves,” promoter Danny Bazzi said in a press statement. “It’s here now and we’re taking everyone back to a time when music was fun and loose with bands that fans wanted to see, should have seen and need to see.”
Glam Fest kicks off at the Melbourne Pavilion on Friday, 16th February before hitting Brisbane’s Mansfield Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 17th February and wrapping up at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Sunday, 18th February.
