Laneway Festival 2024 Lineup Expands With Triple J Unearthed Winners

The lineup for Laneway Festival 2024 has been embiggened with the addition of a bunch of artists from triple j Unearthed. One homegrown act from each city on the Laneway run has been added to the bill, tasked with opening up each leg of the festival.

First we have dream-pop artist Chloe Dadd who’s been picked as the Unearthed comp winner for Eora/Sydney. The songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist has previously toured with MAY-A, but she’ll be owning the spotlight when she opens up the stage at the NSW leg of Laneway this February.

Elsewhere, Brockhampton-esque hip-hop duo Otiuh will be doing the honours in Perth, folk-rockers Platonic Sex will be warming up the stage in Brisbane, energetic indie rock The Tullamarines are your Adelaide winners, and singer-songwriter Suzi has been handpicked to open the fest in Melbourne.

The Laneway tour kicks off in Brisbane on Saturday, 3rd February before heading to Sydney, Adelaide, Auckland, Melbourne and Perth.

This year’s Unearthed winners join a lineup topped by UK rapper Stormzy, US singer-songwriter Dominic Fike, and alt-R&B hitmaker Steve Lacy, alongside the likes of Hemlocke Springs, Paris Texas, Faye Webster, Angie McMahon, Confidence Man, Teenage Dads, JK-47, Miss Kaninna and loads more.
