Swedish Punks Viagra Boys Announce 2026 Australian Tour

Viagra Boys have plotted their third Australian tour, venturing back down under in January 2026 to play a series of headlining shows across the country. The Swedish garage-rock sextet are currently on their Infinite Anxiety world tour in support of their fourth studio album, the quasi-eponymous viagr aboys, which was released last month via the band’s own Shrimptech Enterprises. The band were last in Australia circa November 2024, where they played theatres nationwide with support from C.O.F.F.I.N. Earlier in 2024, the band were announced on the line-up for that year’s Splendour In The Grass festival. It was ultimately cancelled just weeks later, and although several acts from the festival announced July tours – such as girl in red, Lizzy McAlpine and Baby Gravy – Viagra Boys were not among them. It followed on from their maiden voyage in December 2019, as part of that year’s Meredith Music Festival line-up.

The Infinite Anxiety Australian tour will also be topped and tailed by returns to New Zealand and Japan. The band are set to perform at Auckland’s Powerstation on Thursday, January 15th ahead of arriving down under, and at Tokyo’s Shibuya O-East on Tuesday, January 27th once the Australian tour has wrapped. A pre-sale for the tour will run from 11am local time on Thursday, May 15th and can be registered for here. General sale will then follow on Friday, May 16th at 1pm local time via Frontier Touring.
