After returning from hiatus last year for two sold out live shows in Sydney and a blockbuster festival appearance in Las Vegas, Sydney scene icons Tonight Alive are continuing their live reunion, announcing a one-off show in Melbourne for this September.

The foursome of Jenna McDougall, Matty Best, Jake Hardy and Cam Adler will hit the stage at Max Watts on Friday, 19th September for some one-night-only action packed with nostalgic Warped tour energy and life-affirming pop-punk singalongs.

“Reuniting in Sydney last year was pure magic,” the band posted in a statement on social media, announcing the show. “We know so many of you travelled to see us, so with Melbourne being our first home away from home, we want to come back and return the love! Max Watts holds so many unforgettable memories for us. Tickets on sale now via OzTix, VIP upgrades available at tonightalive.store!”

They continued: “Let’s put another one in the books! See you in September x Jenna, Jake, Cam and Matty”

Tonight Alive took a breather toward the end of 2018, less than a year after the release of their fourth studio album Underworld

Lead vocalist Jenna McDougall has since launched a solo project, performing and releasing music under the moniker of Hevenshe, while drummer Matty Best relocated to the US to become the new full-time drummer of Sleeping With Sirens. Guitarist Jake Hardy, meanwhile, became the venue manager of Sydney’s Crowbar.

But it seems the gang aren’t quite done with Tonight Alive just yet…
