CNN’s “The Fourth in America” July special returns with a star-studded lineup and live firework shows from across the country.

“The Fourth in America” returns to CNN in 2025, featuring star-studded performances and live fireworks shows from across the country in celebration of the 248th anniversary of the United States’ independence. The special takes place from 7 PM ET to 1 AM ET, hosted by CNN anchor and Chief Political Correspondent Dana Bash and CNN anchor Boris Sanchez, along with CNN anchor and correspondent Victor Blackwell, and CNN anchor and Senior National Correspondent Sara Sidner.

CNN’s “The Fourth in America” will feature musical performances from Noah Kahan, Lainey Wilson, Dierks Bentley, Sting, Nelly, Counting Crows, Timbaland, The Fray, CAKE, Sublime, Ice Cube, Kaskade, 4 Non Blondes, Ashley McBryde, The War & Treaty, I Love the 90s Tour with Vanilla Ice, Young MC, Rob Base and Tone Loc, B.oB, Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The special will also include an ensemble performance by The United States Air Force Band.

Coast-to-coast fireworks shows will air live from cities across the country throughout the evening, including Boston, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas, Nashville, Niagara Falls, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, St. Louis, San Diego, Seward, Alaska, and Washington, D.C. CNN anchor Brianna Keilar and CNN Senior Data Reporter Harry Enten will provide on-the-ground reporting from celebrations in Washington, D.C. and New York City, respectively.

For several years running, CNN’s “The Fourth in America” is proud to have the continued support of partners Summerfest, BottleRock Napa Valley, and Social House Entertainment. The special will be broadcast live on CNN, CNN International, and CNN Max. The show will also stream live on CNN Max and for paid TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN connected TV and mobile apps on Thursday, July 4.
