Electric Six Announce 2026 Australian Tour Dates
Electric Six have announced their return to Australia in March 2026, on what is being billed as a greatest-hits tour. The American comedy-rock band are set to play seven headlining shows across the country, playing selections from across their 19-album, 26-year career. The full list of tour dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.
The tour marks the band’s third Australian tour in the 2020s, having previously toured in both 2023 and 2024 after not having toured here since 2005. The 2023 tour was to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their debut studio album Fire, while the 2024 tour came in support of their most recent studio album Turquoise. Frontman Dick Valentine also toured Australia solo in early 2020.
Electric Six – ‘Dance Commander’
Forming out of Detroit in 1999, Electric Six found success in 2003 with their singles ‘Gay Bar’ and ‘Danger! High Voltage!!’ Both songs were voted into triple j’s Hottest 100 in January 2004, with the former coming in at 33 and the latter coming in at number 28. Later that year, the band found themselves in triple j rotation again with their cover of Queen’s ‘Radio Ga Ga’, which served as the lead single from their second studio album, 2005’s Señor Smoke.

A pre-sale for the tour will commence from 10am local time on Thursday, August 7th. General sale then follows on Monday, August 11th – again at 10am local time. Both can be accessed via the tour’s official promoter, Metropolis Touring.
