Victor Wooten Announces 2026 Australian Tour With His Brothers

Victor Wooten has announced his return to Australia for a nine-date national tour in February 2026. The veteran American bassist will be joined by his siblings The Wooten Brothers – Regi on guitar, Joseph on keyboards and Roy on drums – to perform songs from across the family’s 50-plus year career. Wooten and his brothers were last in Australia back in May of 2023. Prior to that, the bassist had not toured Australia since 2007 – where he performed alongside brother Roy as part of Béla Fleck And The Flecktones. Among the bands and artists that the Wooten family have performed with over their decades in the business are Bootsy Collins, War, the Steve Miller Band and The Temptations.

The Wooten Brothers – ‘Sweat’

Wooten still tours frequently with both his brothers and The Flecktones, as well as running camps and seminars for bass playing out of his own Tennessee property dubbed Wooten Woods. He released his second book, The Spirit Of Music: The Lesson Continues, in 2021, and hosts the advice series Words Of Wisdom on his YouTube channel as of January 2025.
