Theo Croker Announces ‘Dream Manifest’ Deluxe Edition, Shares COLORSxSTUDIOS Performance Before Blue Note NYC Residency

Two months after the release of his triumphant seventh studio album Dream Manifest, Theo Croker has announced a deluxe edition expanding the project’s immersive sonic world. The GRAMMY-nominated trumpeter, composer and producer’s postlude to his shapeshifting nine-track collection pushes his hypnotic blend of post-bop, neo-soul, hip-hop and more to groundbreaking new styles with bonus entries that flowed from the same creative intentions, including unheard collaborations with IDK, Dear Silas & Blue Lab Beats, and Natureboy Flako.

To complement this announcement, Croker has achieved another milestone with the release of his performance for COLORSxSTUDIOS, the esteemed series that spotlights the most distinctive talents from across genres. With his spot in the monochromatic studio, the artist introduced “Wrapped in the Weight,” a fresh offering from the expanded Dream Manifest material. Croker’s COLORS recording is a tender meditation, unfurling from his patient, lyrical horn over a soft and sparing rumble of upright bass, piano, brushed snares and shimmering electronics. From the seed of contemplation he nurtured on his latest album, the jazz luminary’s music has bloomed to a vibrant new chapter.
