Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Announce Three-Night Run at The Capitol Theatre and 2026 Tour Dates

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead have shared an extended look at their forthcoming performance schedule. The band, known for delivering originals and associated covers from the Grateful Dead’s songbook, will play three newly announced concerts at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on January 16-18, 2026. 

Following the release of their new performance schedule, the ensemble will embark on a series of tour dates in the southern region of the country, beginning on February 12 at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, N.C. The following evening, February 13, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will play at the Township Auditorium in Columbia, S.C., before their final zonal gig on February 14 at Atlanta’s The Eastern. 

On April 30, the band will arrive at the House of Blues in Dallas, before following up at Austin, Texas’ ACL Live at Moody Theatre, on May 1. The East Coast ensemble will take their talents to The Fillmore in New Orleans on May 2, before taking another break from the road. 

Resuming their schedule, Russo and company will take the stage at Allianz Amphitheater at the Riverfront in Richmond, Va., on May 21, before arriving in Asbury Park, N.J., on May 22. They will proceed by putting on a show at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Conn., on May 23. 

Looking at the furthest dates on their calendar, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will pick up a festival slot at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo, N.C., followed by a night at Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, Mass. The final appearance on their current schedule will take them to Portland, Maine, where they will perform at Thompson’s Point on June 19. 

Pre-sale for the band’s Capitol Theatre run begins on Wednesday, September 24, at noon.
