KT Tunstall Announces 20th Anniversary Australian Tour For ‘Eye To The Telescope’
Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall is bringing her iconic debut LP Eye To The Telescope back to Australian stages in May 2026, celebrating 20 years since the album first introduced the world to hits like ‘Black Horse and the Cherry Tree’ and ‘Suddenly I See’.
These exclusive shows will see Tunstall perform the album front to back with her full band, giving fans a rare chance to relive the songs that defined an era. It’s a milestone moment for an artist whose infectious energy and loop-pedal mastery have long made her a live favourite.
KT Tunstall – ‘Suddenly I See’
Originally released in 2004, Eye To The Telescope went 5x platinum, sold over 4 million copies worldwide, and soundtracked everything from Grey’s Anatomy to The Devil Wears Prada. Reflecting on the anniversary, Tunstall says:
“When I made my very first record, it never crossed my mind where I might be when it turned 20. It was a fantastically scrappy album to make, with very little money and a handful of musician friends. Over the years I’ve been told the most amazing stories of what these songs mean to people all over the world… Needless to say, it’s been a beautiful thrill.”
Fans can expect a career-spanning set alongside the full album performance, following her show-stealing support slot on Train’s 2024 Australian tour.
The news comes after Tunstall announced the album’s forthcoming 20th anniversary reissue, Eye To The Telescope: The Stargazer Edition – out October 31 via BMG.
