Russell Crowe Announces One-Off Sydney Show With His Band ‘Indoor Garden Party’

Russell Crowe is swapping gladiator armour for guitars this December, locking in a single Sydney show with his band Indoor Garden Party at the Enmore Theatre on Saturday, 20th December.

Crowe’s not just moonlighting either – the Oscar-winner has been juggling blockbusters with band life, and he’s capping off a year of six feature films by squeezing in one final blow-out with his musical crew.

Fans can expect special guests galore (including Marcia Hines, Troy Cassar-Daley, and indie up-and-comer Brake) and maybe a few surprises – Crowe reckons it’ll be “like the Christmas show you go to when you don’t really want to go to a Christmas show,” complete with a strict no reindeer policy.

Formed back in 2009 outside a London pub, Indoor Garden Party has since hit stages everywhere from Glastonbury to Pompeii. Now, after tours across Europe, the US and home soil, they’re back for one night only in Sydney. If you missed them last time, this is your shot: Crowe promises a celebration set loaded with foot-stomping crescendos and a few left-turn guests along the way.
