Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Performers and Presenters Revealed
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has unveiled an impressive roster of performers and presenters for its 2025 induction ceremony, featuring contemporary stars alongside legendary artists.
Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Elton John, Missy Elliott, and Brandi Carlile lead the star-studded lineup announced by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation this week.
The ceremony will take place on November 8th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with the foundation yet to specify which artists will perform versus present during the festivities. Additional notable participants include Beck, television host David Letterman, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, punk pioneer Iggy Pop, rapper J.I.D, and Killer Mike.
The diverse lineup continues with Maxwell, Questlove, British singer Raye, producer Sleepy Brown, Teddy Swims, alternative duo Twenty One Pilots, and Taylor Momsen from The Pretty Reckless.
The foundation has also indicated that additional special guests will be revealed in the coming weeks.
John Sykes, chairman of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, emphasised the ceremony’s significance, stating: “Each year the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony brings together the most influential artists in music today to honour their heroes who have inspired their music and careers. These artists come from around the world to create lifetime musical moments that will live on forever.”
This year’s performer inductees represent a broad spectrum of rock history. Bad Company, the British supergroup formed in 1973, joins the ranks alongside dance pioneer Chubby Checker, whose twist craze defined early 1960s pop culture. The late Joe Cocker, known for his soulful interpretations of popular songs, will be posthumously inducted, while pop icon Cyndi Lauper receives recognition for her distinctive voice and theatrical performances.
Hip-hop duo OutKast represents the genre’s evolution, marking their entry alongside grunge legends Soundgarden and garage rock pioneers The White Stripes. The diverse class reflects the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s expanding definition of influential music.
Beyond performer inductees, Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon will receive induction for musical influence. The musical excellence category honours session musicians Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye, whose contributions shaped countless recordings. Lenny Waronker will receive the prestigious Ahmet Ertegun Award.
