The Wood Brothers Announce Ryman Auditorium Return

Coming off the August 1 Puff of Smoke release, The Wood Brothers have announced their forthcoming appearance at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on March 5, 2026, in support of their latest studio efforts. The ensemble’s impending return to the Mother Church marks the fifth time it has played on the historic stage. It also aligns with the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Ways Not to Lose. The trio will be joined by The Luckiest Horns and TBA special guests.

The Wood Brother’s headlining role comes as a significant moment for the Nashville band, which has long considered Music City its epicenter, beginning in 2013, when they recorded their fourth LP, The Muse, at Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Studios. At the time, members Oliver and Chris Wood migrated to the region and were soon followed by their third, Jano Rix. Once all members were in Nashville, they began making a home at The Studio Nashville, where they cut their subsequent albums.

The pandemic prompted Chris’ transition to Vancouver, Canada, and Rix’s new home in Vermont, while Oliver remains in the city that holds major significance to the band. “It’s always a special honor to play the Ryman,” says Oliver. “Knowing the history and having seen shows there, we understand the reverence of fans and artists alike, and appreciate the intimacy and vibe of this magical room.”

The band will participate in a string of live performances slated for November and December, before their Ryman one-off. On the road, they will support Puff of Smoke, the 11-track collection that draws on the trio’s shared concentration on manifestation, mindfulness, and the constantly shifting narrative of life.
