Blackpink’s Lisa signs with Wasserman Music for global touring representation, the company announced on Wednesday.

Wasserman Music announced on Wednesday (October 22), the signing of Blackpink member Lisa (Lalisa Manobal) for global touring representation. Lisa is best known for her massive worldwide success with the K-pop girl group, as well as an impressive solo recording career. She also recently embarked on an acting career, appearing in the third season of HBO’s hit, “The White Lotus.”

News of her signing with Wasserman comes about a month after Lisa signed with WME for representation in her continued acting endeavors.

Lisa launched her own management company, LLOUD CO., last year. She also partnered with RCA Records to release her debut solo album, Alter Ego. The record debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200, and #1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.

The artist has enjoyed a series of successful singles in her solo career, including “Rockstar,” “New Woman” featuring Rosalía, “Born Again” with Doja Cat and Raye, and “Moonlit Floor.” Lisa also performed at Coachella this year as a solo act, and was the first solo K-pop winner at both the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV European Music Awards.

Blackpink took a year off so its members could pursue solo efforts, but they returned briefly for a short reunion tour, with a larger tour on the horizon. The outing began on July 5 at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea and included U.S. dates with two sold-out nights in both Los Angeles and New York City. The tour will continue into next year, with stops across Europe and Asia, concluding in Hong Kong on January 26.

Also in July, Blackpink delighted fans with a surprise digital single, “Jump,” marking their first release as a group in almost three years.

Whether this latest move indicates Lisa’s intention to go on tour as a solo artist remains to be seen. But she has a few acting projects reportedly lined up in South Korea, including an action flick that will mark her debut in the genre.
