Joey Valence & Brae Announce Massive 2026 Aussie Return

Joey Valence & Brae are officially back, and they’re not mucking around this time.

The hyper-chaotic, hyper-fun duo from State College, Pennsylvania have announced a full-scale return to Australia this April, following their explosive 2025 debut that saw them sell out headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne and absolutely detonate Laneway Festival crowds.

Those shows were sweaty, feral, and unforgettable – and now JVB are levelling up again, bringing their boldest statement yet: their new album HYPERYOUTH.

The 2026 tour is set to be their biggest run on Aussie soil to date, arriving hot off the release of HYPERYOUTH – a record entirely written, produced, mixed and mastered by Joey Valence inside his State College bedroom-studio-meets-Pokémon-shrine.

The album still packs everything fans love about JVB – breakneck boom-bap, punk-bravado bars, EDM chaos and meme-brained maximalism – but it’s also their sharpest and most personal work yet. Featuring guest spots from JPEGMAFIA, Rebecca Black and TiaCorine, HYPERYOUTH plays like a manifesto about growing up without losing your inner gremlin.

If you somehow missed the original JVB explosion, it all kicked off with the viral juggernaut ‘PUNK TACTICS’, a Gen-Z hip-hop fever dream that soundtracked everything from TikTok spirals to a major Street Fighter teaser. Since then, they’ve become architects of joyful chaos – blurring nostalgia, nerdcore, hardcore punk energy and brat-rap swagger into something that feels like every reckless night of your youth rolled into one glorious, sweaty mosh.

After tearing through Australia last year, they’re clearly not done with us yet – and this time, they’re bringing the biggest, loudest, most unhinged version of Joey Valence & Brae we’ve seen so far.
