Claptone converts John Summit, Sofi Tukker’s ‘Sun Came Up’

John Summit and Sofi Tukker‘s synergy was palpable in their recent union, “Sun Came Up,” and now remixes for the track are underway, with Claptone first up. Claptone keeps Sophie’s sultry vocals intact, which in turn keeps the introduction dramatic and building as his signature production takes over in the transformed drop. His rendition of the release would be a ready addition to one of his darker sets, and listeners can expect to catch it in his upcoming live sets.

Claptone’s remix of “Sun Came Up” precedes the arrival of his fourth full-length studio album, Closer, set to be released on November 12. The album can be pre-ordered here.
