Manchester’s Night And Day Under Threat Due To Noise Complaint

Manchester live music hub Night And Day is under threat due to a noise abatement notice.

The venue is one of Manchester’s key sites for new music, with a three decade history moving across virtually every genre you could name

. With everyone from elbow to jazz guru Tenderlonious set to perform in the coming weeks, Night And Day remains as potent as ever.

Sadly, not everyone agrees. Night And Day has been served a noise abatement notice by Manchester council, meaning that the venue is under threat.

The noise abatement notice was no doubt caused by a local resident – it’s a cruel irony that the reason the Northern Quarter of Manchester is such a popular area to live in is due to work done by venues such as Night And Day.
