Ben Harper and Mad Bunny Records Announce Sonic Chapters Volume 1

Ben Harper and his label Mad Bunny Records have announced they’ll share the first volume of their Sonic Chapters series exclusively on Relix’s YouTube Channel. The curated performances will be available to view starting on Dec. 29, 2021.

“Sonic Chapters Vol 1 emerged from an idea I’ve long had to do a live music series from my family’s Folk Music Center,” Harper explained in a press release. “We kept looking for the right time in this pandemic to start, but as we all know this keeps going on. So as many of us are grounded and homebound, we present this sonic offering to you in your home which you can watch anytime.”

The sweet and powerful performances on Sonic Chapters Vol 1 feature Hey, King!, Birdthrower, Harris, The Cush, Jake Etheridge and Harper himself. The clips were recorded in the comfort of artists’ homes and rehearsal spaces.
