Racetraitor Premiere New Single & Music Video “Pastoral Monolith” From Upcoming New Album “Creation and the Timeless Order of Things”
“Pastoral Monolith” is the most recent single released by Racetraitor. For this song, the Chicago-based group collaborated with renowned vocalist Dennis Lyxzén from Refused, among other notable projects. Lyxzén is among several guest artists featured on Racetraitor’s upcoming album, “Creation And The Timeless Order Of Things,” scheduled for release on November 17th through Good Fight Music.
To celebrate the album’s release, Racetraitor will perform at ‘Sweat Fest’ in Grand Rapids, MI on December 9th.
Lyxzén shared his thoughts on the lyrical theme of the track:
“The song is about the lasting and devastating impacts of British colonialism in Nigeria. In the past few weeks, we have seen Israel’s attacks on Gaza which also have their historical roots in British colonialism.”
