It looks like Harry Styles may not be rocking the hairy style anymore. The 29-year-old pop star stepped out with rumored girlfriend actress Taylor Russell at a U2 concert in Las Vegas, but what was more shocking to fans online was that Styles, known for his thick, dark curls, appeared to have shaved his head.

The “As It Was” singer’s shocking new look was captured in a video shared by TMZ, which pegged his and Russell’s location to a U2 show in Vegas’ brand new Sphere arena. Styles’ hand is placed on the Bones and All star’s neck in the video; the pair have reportedly been dating for months after first being linked in July, when Russell attended one of the Grammy winner’s Love on Tour shows.

Naturally, fans have started flocking to Twitter to pay their respects, mourning the loss of one of the world’s most iconic heads of hair. “how tf are you gonna be named harry styles with no hair to style,” tweeted one person, while another fan wrote, “harry styles shaving his head was not in my bingo card for 2023.”

The shearing of Styles’ locks marks a monumental change for the former boy bander, at least in the eyes of fans who have fondly witnessed his style evolution over the years. The different eras of his famous hair have been tenderly documented under labels such as “Long Hair Harry” or “Bandana Harry” (back when he was known to tie scarves around his fringe). And now? “Bald Harry,” apparently.
