Joe Russo Shifts Boyfriends Return to Friends Format After Josh Kaufman Drops Out Due to Illness

Following up on our earlier coverage that Boyfriends would return on Dec. 14 at The Sultan Room in New York City. Joe Russo posted on his official Instagram account today, telling fans that Josh Kaufman had fallen ill and that the regularly scheduled show would shift to Friends of Boyfriends format.

The new concert bill intended for tomorrow night includes Stuart Bogie, Ben Perowsky, and Russo, in addition to special guests Jonathan Goldberger (guitar) and Chris Morrissey (bass). Russo also shared that the official return of Boyfriend has been moved to March 14 at the same Big Apple venue.

Tickets for tomorrow night’s newly billed concert remain on sale.
