The octave mandolin 800 (om-800) is tuned one octave lower than a standard mandolin. The Gold Tone om-800 includes low action and a thin neck for rapid playing. The curly maple back and sides help promote a punchy tone and the arched solid spruce top increases sustain and volume. Now offered with a compound radius fingerboard and extended scale length, This instrument is amazing playable and will serve as an alternative to the mandolin sound.
