The Lonesome Prairie Dogs, Lenny Kaye, Jordan McLean and More Set for Hank-O-Rama

A mix of musicians will honor the life of Hank Williams at New York’s Bowery Electric next week. Slated to take place on January 1, on the anniversary of the country pioneer’s passing, the 20^th annual Hank-O-Rama will once again be hosted by The Lonesome Prairie Dogs.

This year’s lineup will also boast: Lenny Kaye, Tammy Faye, Cliff Westfall, Jack Grace, Sean Kershaw, Elena and Boo from The Demolition String Band, Dave Dawson, Kenny Soule, Ellie Goodman, Monica Passin and Monica Falcone. The Lonesome Horns, featuring Antibalas’ Jordan McLean, will augment the ensemble during the night.

Williams died in 1953. He was 29.
