The Eve Audio TS107 is a self-powered, 6.5-inch subwoofer with dedicated controls such as switchable satellite filters, phase switch and variable filter frequencies from 50 to 150Hz. The included remote control enables detailed adjustment of not only the subwoofer’s, but also the complete sound system’s volume setting from any listening position comfortably and effortlessly. The TS107 is equipped with a highly-efficient PWM amplifier delivering 100W with a very efficient 100W with a frequency response of down to 33 Hz up to 150 Hz, for a maximum output power of 102 dB (SPL @ 1m). The uniqueness of the Thunderstorm series subwoofers resides in the passive radiator mounted on the bottom of the enclosure. It replaces the common bass reflex tubes and eliminates audible noise caused by air turbulences within the tubes effectively and thoroughly. As the suspension design of the passive radiator has a restoring force underneath its tuning frequency, this helps reduce all inaudible excursions in the subsonic range, resulting in reduced intermodulation distortion at the audible range. Aesthetically, the TS107 features a very clean and simple design cabinet with a grey control plate installed above the woofer.
