Alienist Premiere New Single & Music Video “Prisoner Of You” – Sign With UNFD,

Alienist is the newest addition to the Australian metalcore landscape to secure a global contract with UNFD. To mark this achievement, the Wollongong-based band has dropped a fresh single called “Prisoner Of You,” accompanied by an available music video, both available for streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below.

The group expressed their thoughts on this new track:

“‘Prisoner Of You‘ is an analysis of a toxic and abusive relationship and how it can feel to be in that situation with no escape in sight, to be a prisoner. It comes from an angry perspective towards the abusive person that has attempted to destroy us emotionally or physically and the realisation of how terrible an individual that commits those acts towards someone is. It hopefully serves as a reminder to people that these situations are not okay and to seek help and support if they feel like they’re in a toxic or abusive relationship.”
