Allman Betts Family Revival Expands Artist Lineup for Ninth Annual Tour

The ninth annual Allman Betts Family Revival Tour has unveiled the second wave of guest artists that will participate in this year’s celebration. After the previously announced locations and an initial guest list were announced in August, the hosts behind the concerts, Devon Allman and Duane Betts, returned with 13 new performers, who will join them on the road next month. 

Joining the Revival cast in odes to the host’s fathers, Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts, through the musical camaraderie of Allman Brothers Band selections, are folks with familial ties to the music, including Melody and Vaylor Trucks (daughter and son of Butch Trucks), Lamar Williams Jr. (son of the original band’s bassist from 1972-76).

Also on the list:  Jackie Greene, Judith Hill, Paul McDonald, Greg Koch, Erika Orbison, Orianthi, Richard Fortus, Abigail Stahlshmidt, Mattie Schell and Bella Rayne. The newly added guests join a roster that already included Slash, Robert Randolph, Marcus King, Jason Isbell, Sierra Hull, Sierra Ferrell, Robin Zander, Tal Wilkenfeld, and Charlie Starr. The tour begins on Nov. 29 at The Factory in St. Louis, with a final appearance on Dec. 21 at San Francisco’s Fillmore.
