Netflix sees dollar signs with ‘Kpop Demon Hunters’ merch, selling HUNTR/X and Saja Boys light sticks for $65 each.

Netflix’s record-smashing animated film, ‘Kpop Demon Hunters,’ has fast become a fandom sensation, with fans making costumes of their favorite characters. Now, just in time for Halloween, Netflix has dropped the official HUNTR/X and Saja Boys light sticks for $65 each.

Fans can preorder their HUNTR/X and Saja Boys light sticks now, ahead of their official sale on November 14. Presale deliveries will begin on November 24. Netflix is also holding several pop-up events around the world where fans can show their love of the film’s fictional superstars. Details on those will be coming soon.

Created by Copan Global, the company behind many of the biggest real-life K-pop acts’ light stick wands, these official light sticks are “different from cosplay or toy versions.” In the world of K-pop, “an official light stick is an interactive must-have item, with a design unique to each K-pop act. They’re not just any piece of merch, but talismans of fandom, a magical wand that you take to a concert.”

Not only do these official wands create seas of light in a stadium setting, but both versions synchronize to the groups’ music, putting them up there “with the very best in the K-pop game.”

And if you just can’t get enough of HUNTR/X while you’re waiting for your light sticks to arrive, Epic Games has launched a collaboration in Fortnite that includes characters from the film and a special event.

“Fans can team up with HUNTR/X to protect the Honmoon from the endless waves of faceless demons in the new Demon Rush Mode—live between October 2 to November 1,” reads Epic’s announcement.

Of course, there will also be outfits and accessories so fans can channel their inner Rumi, Mira, and Zoey—and their love of spicy ramyeon, naturally.

Also, starting today, Fortnite creators will be able to build and publish their own games using official ‘Kpop Demon Hunters‘-inspired assets licensed from Netflix.
