Anders Osborne Extends Invitation to NOLA Birthday Bash Featuring Dave Malone, Jackie Greene, Lindsay Lou and More

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, Anders Orborne will host a night of music to celebrate his 60th birthday at New Orleans’ Civic Theatre. The Swedish-born, Crescent City-based guitarist will take inspiration from the Big Easy by throwing a NOLA Birthday Bash, featuring special guests Dave Malone, Jackie Greene, Lindsay Lou, plus the Rebirth Brass Band, and more artists that will be announced prior to the concert. 

The show, which is a part of the 13th Annual NOLA Funk Series during Jazz Fest and The Civic Presents, is already billed to feature select guest artists, with more surprise guests waiting in the wings for their call to participate in the spring occasion. 

Osborne’s schedule features a handful of live shows before the arrival of his official birthday bash, beginning with dates in January with The Funky Biscuits and participation in The Big Easy Cruise, Jan. 18-25. On Feb. 28, he’ll bring his live sound to Asheville Music Hall in Asheville, N.C., for a concert that will feature Brad Walker. 

Next, on April 28, Osborne is scheduled to perform at the Big Easy location, Chickie Wah Wah, with Johnny Sansone and John Fohl, before following up two days later, April 30, at the Republic NOLA. He will perform his aforementioned birthday gig next, followed by an obligatory delivery at the Fair Ground Race Course as part of the Jazz Fest.
