Another Day, Yet Another Round of Warner Music Staffing Shifts — Newest Changes Hit 10K and Atlantic

Another day, yet another round of staffing shifts for Warner Music Group (WMG), which has announced leadership changes at 10K Projects and Atlantic Music Group (AMG).
WMG disclosed the personnel pivots via a pair of releases today. As many know, the major has moved forward with all manner of layoffs, promotions, and reorganization initiatives under CEO Robert Kyncl – including shakeups at ADA and Warner Records to close out July.
Evidently, the sweeping restructuring still isn’t finished. Diving right into the newest changes, Atlantic Records marketing exec Marsha St. Hubert has been elevated to EVP of the overarching Atlantic Music Group and tapped to serve as co-president (alongside Nicholas Ziangas) of 10K Projects.
Founded and headed by Elliot Grainge, the latter has been operating under the Warner Music banner for about two years; Grainge then started as Atlantic Music Group’s CEO in October 2024.
Rounding out the changes at 10K itself, existing co-president Molly McLachlan, who’s been aboard since 2018, has been boosted to EVP of AMG and “will remain based in Los Angeles and also now report directly into Grainge.”
“With two decades of hands-on experience,” Grainge added in part, “Marsha is one of the most knowledgeable, savvy, and engaging people in our industry. She’s a passionate, magnetic music fan who knows the marketplace inside out, and has been the driving force behind the creation and execution of a stream of innovative strategies for new artists and superstars alike.
“Molly has been a foundational and integral leader at 10K, playing an important role in its launch and long term growth,” the 31-year-old proceeded. “As we evolve our senior management team at AMG, we remain agile, ambitious, and collaborative about our vision for the future. Adding Molly to the AMG center helps us achieve this.”
Transitioning to the second wave of Atlantic recalibrations, 300 Entertainment co-presidents Rayna Bass and Selim Bouab have now “taken on broadened scopes at” Atlantic Records, where they’re officially co-presidents of hip-hop, R&B, and global music.
Besides those new posts, both will continue in their 300 positions, Warner Music indicated. Additionally, nearly 24-year Warner Music/Atlantic higher-up Lanre Gaba has taken on “a new advisory role at AMG as” EVP of artist strategy and development. All three execs – Bass, Bouab, and Gaba, that is – will keep on reporting to Grainge.
In remarks of their own, Bass and Bouab emphasized an eagerness to help “unlock even more potential in a label that’s already full of brilliance, passion, and so much opportunity.” And Gaba touched on plans to “keep elevating powerful, meaningful music that makes a difference.”
Meanwhile, these shifts are, of course, separate from Warner Music’s $300 million worth of layoff-fueled cost-cutting measures. Separately, Universal Music Group head Lucian Grainge last week reiterated that his company, “having achieved €125 million in cost savings from the” first phase of its “strategic redesign,” had started leaning into phase two towards 2025’s beginning.
“As a reminder,” added COO Boyd Muir, “the overall plan will generate €250 million in run-rate cost savings and will be implemented by 2026 as expected.”
