Astronomia – Nick Rhodes, Wendy Bevan – Share ‘Transcending’ Visuailser

Astronomia was originally intended as a short project between two friends, but it has grown to consume their lives.

Nick Rhodes – keyboard genius of Duran Duran – and artist Wendy Bevan sat down together to chart the project in 2018, matching ambient electronics to found sounds in order to chart their shared attraction to the universe.

With the pandemic sweeping into view, those cosmic forces helped keep the two afloat, linking them to the world beyond their studios.

The final aspect of there project ‘ASTRONOMIA IV: The Eclipses of Algol’ is out now, appropriately released on the winter solstice.

A moment charged with spiritual energy, the release taps into the darker undercurrents of their work, while also providing pin-pricks of light.
