Bleachers Bring “Modern Girl” to ‘The Tonight Show’

Last night, Bleachers made a vibrant appearance on The Tonight Show, where they showcased their latest single, “Modern Girl.” The band, fronted by Jack Antonoff, delivered a rousing performance of the song, enhanced by gilded horns.

The performance of the track, both musically and visually, paid homage to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band while mirroring the music video, directed by Alex Lockett, that was released in September along with the song.

In addition to the musical segment, Antonoff sat down with the show’s host, Jimmy Fallon, for a discussion that covered his work in music production for artists like Taylor Swift, including her hit “Cruel Summer,” and also shared insights about his recent wedding to actress Margaret Qualley. During this conversation, Antonoff and Fallon spontaneously composed a song to the audience’s delight.

Notably, it follows the release of their new live album, Live at Radio City Music Hall, which documented their July 2022 concert at the renowned New York City venue.
