Iconic automotive brand Cadillac is “turning up the volume” on its long-standing connection to music through a new partnership with Warner Music Australia, as it makes its debut Down Under.

Having appeared in 49 album titles and over 12,000 song lyrics, Cadillac is synonymous with music. Now aiming to deepen its ties to music culture further, the collaboration will see Warner Music artists put their latest tracks to the ultimate “car test” in the all-electric Cadillac LYRIQ, which sports a AKG 19-speaker sound system.

“The Cadillac LYRIQ has music in its heart – from its name and brand history – right through to the AKG sound system, which has even greater importance given the quiet all-electric drive,” said Heath Walker, director of marketing for General Motors, Cadillac’s parent company.

The Cadillac LYRIQ is the first vehicle offered in the Australian market, and is the brand’s first fully electric vehicle. The brand has launched its first-ever “Experience Centre” in Sydney, with plans to open dealerships in Melbourne and Brisbane after it establishes itself in market.

Cadillac will also support artists on the road as the official automotive partner of Warner Music Australia. Vehicles will be made available to artists for use during tours, helping them navigate cities, arrive in style at arenas, and enjoy a refined electric driving experience in everyday life.

“This exciting new partnership between Cadillac and Warner Music celebrates the powerful connection between music and the driving experience,” Dan Rosen, president of Warner Music Australasia, said.

“Whether its singing along to our favourite songs or finding the perfect playlist for the road, music is an essential part of every journey,” he continued. “We’re thrilled to join forces with Cadillac to showcase how music can elevate every drive, right here in Australia.”

The partnership has kicked off with Cadillac working alongside artists and industry experts, including Kita Alexander, Jess B, and Derrick Gee, to bring the stereo sounds of the Cadillac LYRIQ to life.
