Campbelltown Artist RISSA Returns With Soulful New R&B Single, ‘FOREVER’

Dharawal/Campbelltown R&B artist RISSA is back to make you feel all the feels with her smooth new single ‘FOREVER’ – a silky, soul-drenched ode to falling head-first into love (and quietly wondering if it’ll stick).

Recorded at Offbeat Studios in Marrickville and produced/mixed by New Zealand talent Edy Liu, the track wraps RISSA’s honeyed vocals, lush harmonies and warm basslines into something equal parts intimate and irresistible. Fans of Cleo Sol, Mahalia, or Snoh Aalegra will undoubtedly catch a vibe.

“’FOREVER’ encapsulates the moments and feelings in dating when you feel yourself falling for someone but are unsure if those feelings are just for now or forever,” RISSA shares in a press statement about the new track. “Teaming up with Edy Liu and Sam V, we pieced together an R&B track full of soul. This one is for the yearners who want a forever kind of love!”

Since dropping her 2023 debut EP Made To Feel, RISSA has been steadily building an impressive body of work with tracks like ‘love me right’ and ‘Cinematic Feels’, clocking up 20+ million total Spotify streams.

Polynesian/Australian and inspired by the sounds of R&B and Gospel, RISSA pours her own lived experiences into her music – layering soulful melodies, gospel choir harmonies and infectious grooves to create something timeless.

And with ‘FOREVER’, she’s giving us another reason to believe in love… even if it’s complicated.
