Chepang Premiere New Single & Music Video “Nirnaya” From Upcoming New Album “Jhyappa”
Nepalese-American grindcore outfit Chepang have unveiled a new music video for their track “Nirnaya”, which is set to appear on their upcoming album Jhyappa. This marks the band’s first full-length release via Relapse Records, with a street date of May 23rd.
Chepang will be performing Jhyappa in its entirety at this year’s Maryland Deathfest on the day of its release. An additional album release show is also confirmed for July 5th at TV Eye in Brooklyn, NY.
Known for their self-coined label of “immigrindcore”, the group describe “Nirnaya” as a declaration of inner triumph, stating:
“‘Nirnaya‘ is about making the ultimate decision to finally kill all your inner demons and negativity inside you and to come out victorious.”
