Crowded House fans in regional Australia have had a massive response to the iconic act’s recent regional tour announcement for the Red Hot Summer concert series, with two of the massive outdoor shows – in Bribie Island and Mornington – already selling out after tickets went on sale just yesterday.

As a result, two new shows in those same locations have now been added to the itinerary, with a second and final show at the Sandstone Point Hotel now happening on on Sunday 19th October and another at Mornington Racecourse going down on Sunday, 30th November.

Crowded House – ‘World Where You Live’

Crowded House will be joined by a massive Australian lineup for the now 14-date run, including Angus & Julia Stone, while Hunters & Collectors frontman (and Crowded House bassist Nick’s brother) Mark Seymour will perform alongside Vika & Linda in a collaborative set combining their catalogues.

Folk legends The Waifs will open the tour, and rock veterans The Church are also set to join in for the majority of the run, save for one date in Mannum (SA) where the band will be replaced on the bill by The Cruel Sea.

The tour will see Crowded House – who are hot of a headlining slot at the final-not-final Bluesfest back in April, as well as their own headlining tour from last December in support of that year’s Gravity Stairs album – visit fans in Mackay and Bribie Island (QLD), the Hunter Valley and Berry (NSW), Ballarat, the Yarra Valley and Mornington (VIC), Toowoomba and Southport (QLD), Mannum and Seppeltsfield (SA) and the Swan Valley (WA).

The show in Mannum and another in Mackay are not operating under the banner of Red Hot Summer, but the rest are.

Tickets for the newly announced shows are on sale now, and you can peep all the details down below.
