Singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has canceled the remainder of his worldwide tour. The cancellation comes after the launch of a criminal investigation into the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was 13 at the time she went missing.

Authorities discovered the remains of Rivas Hernandez in the front trunk of a Tesla Model X registered to D4vd. The discovery led the the immediate suspension of upcoming concerts and public appearance for the singer. He was slated to perform in San Francisco this weekend.

D4vd’s worldwide tour began on August 5 in California, with stops scheduled in major cities including Dallas, Atlanta, New York, and Philadelphia. The West Coast leg of the tour included a performance at The Warfield in San Francisco this weekend and a sold-out event at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. Both events were abruptly cancelled and D4vd’s name was removed from the Grammy Museum website.

By Friday, ticketing platforms and venue websites had similarly marked his appearances as canceled. Digital Music News has confirmed that the European dates listed for the tour are also now called off. The release of his upcoming album Withered (2025) was also put on hold by his label, with associated promotional activities suspended indefinitely.

Authorities found the body of Celeste Rivas Hernandez on September 8 after reports of a foul odor emanating from an abandoned vehicle in an impound lot. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed the car belonged to the singer. They also confirmed that D4vd “is cooperating with authorities in the investigation.” No charges have been filed at this time.

Over the weekend, the Lake Elsinore community that Celeste is from held a community vigil for the slain teenager. The event drew area residents, classmates, and family members who gathered to honor her memory and demand justice for her killing.

Fans of the singer have noted how posts on reddit, Discord, and Twitter relating to Celeste’s relationship with the singer are now disappearing—as D4vd appears to be the sole moderator for his reddit community.
