DelFest Unveils Initial 2026 Lineup: Del McCoury Band, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Punch Brothers, The Infamous Stringdusters, Sierra Hull and More

DelFest has unveiled the initial artist lineup for its next event. In 2026, the beloved bluegrass mainstay will return for another Memorial Day weekend celebration at its longtime home of Cumberland, Md.’s Allegany County Fairgrounds from May 21-24. Beyond regular appearances from the founder’s hosting ensembles the Del McCoury Band and The Travelin’ McCourys, DelFest’s 17th annual staging will welcome a litany of high-profile acts from the worlds of country, folk, bluegrass and more.

After several headlining performances in the past, and in the wake of their celebrated reunion record Arcadia, Alison Krauss & Union Station will lead the bill for next year’s musical celebration. As tradition is close to the heart of DelFest, it’s no surprise that a number of the 11 featured acts are returning favorites; Punch Brothers, The Infamous Stringdusters, Sierra Hull, Mountain Grass Unit and Shadowgrass have all found a home at the festival in the past. Next year’s newcomers include The Creekers, The Band Loula, Wood Box Heroes and Colby T Helms & The Virginia Creepers, and Joe Craven will return as emcee. 

“I’ve known Alison for nearly 40 years and it seems like at least half that time I’ve been trying to get her at DelFest,” Del McCoury shared. “Can’t tell you how excited I am to have her [and the rest of this initial lineup] join us.”
