Details Revealed for Inaugural AO Live Opening Week

Details have been revealed for the inaugural AO Live Opening Week.

Live Nation Australia and the Australian Open today announced the debut of “an exclusive series of events set to kick off the tournament in spectacular style.”

Taking place from Tuesday, January 13th-Friday, January 16th of next year, AO Live Opening Week will transform the TOPCOURT precinct (on Birrarung Marr’s middle terrace) into a vibrant open-air stage for four nights of world-class electronic music.

Beloved British synth-pop band Hot Chip will open the series on Tuesday, January 13th, supported by Milo Eastwood and more. Grammy-nominated Elderbrook is up next, followed by local success story Cassian, before iconic Aussie duo The Presets and some special guests close out the series on Friday, January 16th.

Tickets for AO Live Opening Week go on sale to the general public at midday on Thursday, November 20th. First release tickets for all shows start at $69.

The AO Live 2026 lineup was recently revealed, with The Kid LAROI, Spacey Jane, Peggy Gou, and more set to light up John Cain Arena between January 28th-February 1st.
