Diesel Extends His ‘By Request’ Tour With 21 New Dates For 2026

He asked, you answered – and now the great Diesel is giving us even more live action..

Fresh off the back of his sold-out 15-date regional By Request Tour, the beloved Aussie muso has announced an extra 21 shows across January to April 2026, taking his career-spanning, audience-powered concert series nationwide.

Diesel – ‘Tip Of My Tongue’

Kicking off with three shows in Tassie from January 30, the new run will hit NSW, QLD, NT, SA, ACT and VIC, before wrapping things up in epic style at the iconic Sydney Opera House on April 26.

The concept is simple – every night, Diesel hands the setlist reins to the fans. From Johnny Diesel & The Injectors through to Bootleg Melancholy, audiences are calling the shots, and no two shows are the same. Expect the hits, the deep cuts, and the odd curveball cover (we’re looking at you, Springsteen fans).

“With the By Request tour, I feel like I’m hitting the sweet spot every night,” Diesel says. “It’s pushed me to dig into the deep crevices of my back catalogue. As I journey into my fourth decade of making music, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate.”

Operating under his famous moniker, the American-born, Aussie-adopted singer-songwriter Mark Lizotte has been shaping the soundtrack of Australian rock since the late ’80s – from ARIA-winning chart smashes to bluesy slow-burners.

With 17 studio albums under his belt and a live show that’s equal parts heart and horsepower, Diesel’s still proving why he’s one of our most enduring icons.
