Djo’s “End of Beginning” rules multiple U.S.-based Billboard charts dated Jan. 17 for the first time. The self-penned track, which arrived in 2022 and broke out in 2024 via TikTok popularity, lifts to No. 1 on the all-format Streaming Songs chart, along with the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, Hot Rock Songs and Hot Alternative Songs lists.

In the week ending Jan. 8, “End of Beginning” drew 19.1 million official U.S. streams (up 92% week over week) and 4.4 million radio audience impressions (a 52% boost) and sold 6,000 (a gain of 175%), according to Luminate.

The song surges following renewed interest on streaming services and shortform video platforms due to the singer-songwriter and actor’s role in Netflix’s Stranger Things, whose fifth and final season concluded Dec. 31.

Djo, real name Joe Keery, earns his first ruler on three of those four rankings. On Streaming Songs, “End of Beginning” originally peaked at No. 6 in March 2024 amid a 10-week run on the chart; it returned to the Jan. 10, 2026, ranking at No. 11. On Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, it rose as high as No. 2, also in March 2024, its same prior peak on Hot Rock Songs; it spent a week at No.1 on Hot Alternative Songs that month. It returned to those surveys dated Dec. 13, 2025, after Stranger Things’ fifth season premiered in November.

Concurrently, “End of Beginning” tops Rock Streaming Songs for a second week. It has now led Alternative Streaming Songs for four frames, following two in 2024.

As previously reported, “End of Beginning” claims its first week in the top 10 of the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, bounding 16-6, and crowns the Billboard Global 200 for the first time.

“End of Beginning” isn’t the only Djo song to make the Billboard charts this week. In all, four of his songs appear on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, with “Delete Ya” the best of the rest at No. 27 (2.1 million streams; 578,000 in radio reach). The track is Djo’s current radio single, ranking at No. 26 on Alternative Airplay after reaching No. 23 a week earlier.
