Rapper Doechii has abruptly dropped out of three festival performances slated for this week. No reason for the cancellations has been given.

What’s going on with Doechii? The rapper has abruptly pulled out of three festival appearances this week: All Points East in London, Forwards in Bristol, and Rock en Seine near Paris. None of the events’ organizers nor representatives for Doechii have specified a reason for the sudden cancellations. Stranger still, tickets for the performances still appear on Doechii’s website as available for purchase.

“We’re very sorry to announce that Doechii will no longer be performing at her upcoming shows,” wrote All Points East on Instagram. “She is an incredible artist, and like all of her fans, we were hugely excited to see her on stage.”

“We are very sad to announce that Doechii will not be performing at her upcoming shows,” wrote Forwards’ account on Instagram in a similar post. “She is an incredible artist, and we were as excited as you were to bring her to our hometown of Bristol.”

Meanwhile, fans have been flooding social media with comments expressing their disappointment after arranging travel to attend the performances. That’s after tickets for her Live From the Swamp tour were announced as sold out in just a week, with the tour kicking off on October 14.

Doechii last performed in the UK at Glastonbury Festival in June. She has since appeared at a number of festivals throughout Europe and North America within the past month, including Denmark’s Roskilde Festival and Lollapalooza in Chicago. She most recently performed at Belgium’s Pukkelpop Festival on August 17.

Doechii rose to fame with the release of her 2023 single, “What It Is (Block Boy).” Last year, she was dubbed Variety’s Hitmakers Hip-Hop Disruptor of the Year, following the release of her mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal. The record also won the Grammy for Best Rap Album in February.
