Dogs in a Pile to Participate in Charitable Evening at Transparent Clinch Gallery

On Wednesday, Jan. 17, Dogs in a Pile will participate in a benefit concert at the Transparent Clinch Gallery in Asbury Park, N.J. The show is intended to raise funds and awareness for the Light of Day Foundation, which helps fight Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses, such as ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). 

The impending night of music will see members of Dogs in a Pile, Jeremy Kaplan, Brian Murray, Joey Babick, Jimmy Law and Sam Lucid, return to their historic Asbury Park, N.J. stomping grounds to perform for a good cause. The performance arrives before Dogs in a Pile’s full-fledged Winter Tour 2024, which will occur throughout February and mid-March. 

According to the Light of Day Foundation’s website, their “mission is to fund research into possible cures, improved treatments and support for patients who suffer from those illnesses, their families and their caregivers to help improve their quality of life.”

The foundation’s primary fundraising efforts are conducted through a series of concerts, which take place in Asbury Park, N.J. Since its start, Light of Day has raised over 5.75 million to find a cure. For those unable to attend the concert yet interested in supporting the charity, donations can be made here.
