Dopapod Cancel Texas Dates After Positive COVID Test

In what has become the norm over the past 24 hours, sadly, Dopapod have called off their New Year’s swing through Texas due to a positive COVID rapid test in the group’s inner circle and other complications stemming from Omicron. The musicians explain:

“We are deeply saddened to announce the cancellation of our NYE run of shows in Texas this December 29th – 31st. Unfortunately, due to the outcome of a positive COVID rapid test within our circle, along with the lack of in-person PCR tests available right now, we have come to this difficult decision. It is our priority to put the health and safety of the band & crew, venue personnel and you our fans ahead of all else at this time. We hope you stay safe and please take care of one another this holiday season!~ Dopapod”

Dopapod’s Texas dates included stops in Houston (12/29), Austin (12/30) and Dallas (12/31). They were slated to be Lighting Director Luke Stratton’s final shows with the group after an 11-year run.
