Elton John and ‘The Lockdown Sessions’ Collaborators Reunite Over Zoom

Today, Elton John and his collaborators from the U.K.’s Number 1 album The Lockdown Sessions shared a short seasonal video of a reunion they shared over Zoom. The video was filled with a bunch of references and nuances that we’ve come to associate with our less than ideal but all too familiar form of communication: muted audio, people talking over each other, blurry cameras, even the iconic lawyer cat.

Still, the sense of connection and collaboration shined through all the artists’ individual screens featured on the call including Stevie Wonder, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Stevie Nicks, Eddie Vedder, Lil Nas X and more. The Zoom call was created by Elton John’s Rocket Entertainment Group and AKQA.
