First Ed Sheeran 2026 Australian + NZ ‘Loop Tour’ Setlists Revealed

Ed Sheeran has officially wrapped up the New Zealand leg of his Loop Tour – and if those first five anything to go by, Aussie fans are in for a very generous evening.

Launching the Antipodean run at Go Media Stadium in Auckland on Friday (16 January) and Saturday (17 January) before rolling onto Wellington and ChristChurch, Sheeran rolled out a massive 30-song setlist (31 in Wellington!), blending chart-smashing classics, deep cuts, new material and a genuinely wholesome fan-powered wildcard segment.

Across each show, Sheeran pulled heavily from his Divide and Multiply eras, while also spotlighting tracks from his forthcoming eighth album Play, alongside favourites from Plus, Minus, the No.6 Collaborations Project, and even a medley of songs he’s written for other artists. It’s a career-spanning flex – and one clearly designed to keep longtime fans and casual stadium singalongs equally fed.

Meanwhile, one of the most charming twists of the Loop Tour is a brand new Fan Suggestions segment, where punters text in song requests live during the show. Those votes are tallied in real time, and the most-requested tracks make the cut – meaning the setlist can (and will) shift night to night.

On opening night, fans pulled out some real deep cuts: ‘Little Bird’ (played live for the first time since 2021) and ‘Sofa’ (dusty enough to not have been performed since 2013), alongside ‘Tenerife Sea’, ‘Supermarket Flowers’ and ‘Give Me Love’.

While in Christchurch, fans copped ‘Grade 8’, ‘All Of The Stars’, ‘Dive’ and ‘Hearts Don’t Break Around Here’.

Obviously, we can expect Australian crowds to absolutely abuse this power.

There’s also a full band moment with Irish folk favourites Beoga, who join Sheeran for a lively run through ‘Galway Girl’, ‘Nancy Mulligan’ and more – plus a slick B-stage medley celebrating Sheeran’s behind-the-scenes songwriting wins.

FYI, all five NZ shows ended with the same three song encore: ‘Shape Of You’, ‘Azizam’ and ‘Bad Habits’.

With his Australian tour set to run five full weeks from late January to early March, this is shaping up to be Sheeran’s biggest and most fan-connected run here yet.
