The third instalment of FULLY AMTD, a grassroots mini-festival created by Ocean Grove’s vocalist Dale Tanner, is returning later this month to raise funds for Support Act.

The festival will unite artists and audiences from Australia and beyond on November 29th, with a lineup including New Zealand punk-rock favourites Bakers Eddy, Brisbane’s Friends of Friends, hip-hop and indie folk artist DENNI, indie band Late November, and an afterparty DJ set from Emo Diva.

It gives fans a tangible way to be part of the national conversation around mental health, community care, and the realities of working in the music industry. 100% of ticket sale revenue from FULLY AMTD will go to Support Act, as part of Ausmusic T-Shirt Day’s fundraising.

“I felt there was a big need for a live gig where punters looking to get more involved in the cause could go to a show and play an active role in the conversation and fundraising effort,” Tanner said of the festival.

“In my mind, it is the one day of the year where we can come together, and rather than the focus be on a headline band or album release, it instead is about celebrating, supporting and protecting the Australian live music community that we all cherish so much.”

Having engaged with Support Act himself after his mental health took a downturn a few years ago, Tanner said services like these are a “critical lifeline” in Australia’s music industry.

“Even when faced with a traumatic situation whilst on tour, Support Act have been able to assign a counsellor within hours to help those who witnessed the event to process it healthily. It’s services like these that I believe to be a critical lifeline in the Australian music industry, especially if we are to see our live music continue to flourish for decades to come.”

In addition to the live performances, fans can also take part in an annual raffle, supported by partner brands including Fender, Heaps Normal, Kiss Chacey, and Death Before Decaf. Prizes include a Fender Malibu acoustic guitar, a year’s supply of non-alcoholic beers, apparel, merchandise packs, and more.

FULLY AMTD will take place at Melbourne’s Stay Gold. Tickets are available for $40 here.
