Gabito Ballesteros signs with Warner Chappell Music

Warner Chappell Music has announced it has signed an exclusive worldwide administration deal with Mexican singer, songwriter, and musician Gabito Ballesteros.

Ballesteros has amassed more than 22.1 million monthly Spotify listeners and has become one of the biggest in-demand Mexican music stars. He has worked with major acts including Peso Pluma, Becky G, Fuerza Regida, Miguel Cornejo, Natanel Cano, and Piso 21. Most recently his hit “LADY GAGA” with Peso Pluma and Junior H earned him his first #1 charting track on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart.

Gabito Ballesteros was born and raised in Sonora, Mexico and learned to play guitar at just age 10. He joined a children’s mariachi at his local church and by age 15, he was sharing videos of himself singing on YouTube. In 2015, he released his first song “Yo Quiero Ser” with La Destructiva Norteño Banda.

Ballesteros rose to prominence in 2020 with his single “El Rompecabezas” with Aldo Trujillo followed by “El Chaman” and “El Sereno,” among others. This year, he collaborated with Mexican superstars Natanael Cano and Peso Pluma on the smash hit “AMG.”

He’s been recognized with various accolades, including two Latin Grammy nominations in 2020 for Best Urban Music Album and Best Urban Song. Ballesteros is signed to Natanael Cano’s record label Los CT.
