On Friday, August 29, Rolling Stone’s Gather No Moss Tour will arrive at The Salt Shed in Chicago. The impending stop represents the second destination on a four-city jaunt, which shines a light on rock-and-roll torchbearers, and promising acts that push their sound into neighboring realms of alt, pop, and experimental. Tomorrow’s show is billed to feature The Beaches, Hello Mary, and Brennan Wedl. Tickets remain on sale.

The Gather No Moss Tour opened on July 26 at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium with a multi-act lineup that featured SEES00000 performing select songs off his 2024 effort, If I Promise to Miss You, Will You Go Away, “T00STEP” and “00000(:’D).” Detroit-based Black Noi$e unveiled a 45-minute frame that pushed the genre barrier, spanning both electronic and hip-hop. Taking the night’s third slot, MK.gee welcomed guitarist Andrew Aged and multi-instrumentalist Zack Sekoff, performing nearly every track off his debut studio LP, Two Star & the Dream Police

Night one ended in a collaborative finish elicited by Mk.gee, who welcomed SEES00000 and Black Noi$e to join him on stage for the final number, “ROCKMAN.” The Gather No Moss Tour will present monthly concerts in select cities through October, providing fans of rock the ability to experience diverse entertainment in a single evening.

Following Friday’s concert in Chicago, the Gather No Moss Tour will pick up again on September 23, at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works with Wet Leg, Hana Vu, and Mary in the Junkyard. The final show is scheduled for October 16 at Kings Theatre and will feature MJ Lenderman, Hovvdy, and Annie DiRusso.
